ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Woodend Farmhouse is perfectly suited to extended family gatherings. There are seven bedrooms in total, sleeping from 17-21 people depending on your individual requirements. There are three bathrooms spread over two floors and a further WC on the ground floor. Luxury feather bedding, plump pillows and fluffy towels are provided for every guest.
The house benefits from brilliant communal spaces including a spacious lounge with roaring inglenook fireplace – think marshmallow toasting and storytime vibes, a well-equipped kitchen perfect for family meal prep, and a spacious oak-beamed dining room.
Prices start at just £650/night, which equates to as little as £30 per person per night! A week long stay in the summer holiday peak costs just over £5000.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Woodend Farm is set in 400 acres, most of which has been rewilded, meaning you’ll discover wonderful countryside strolls through meadows and woodland right from your doorstep. This is the perfect environment for youngsters to explore the great outdoors and let off some steam, though obviously it’s important to stay away from farm buildings and machinery. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy a farm tour with the owners or even to feed the resident pigs!
The property offers a spacious and enclosed garden with patio area, perfect for families, and the ideal place to sunbathe in a garden hammock, relax with a drink as the sun goes down or to toast marshmallows around the firepit.
The games room at Woodend Farm is another great place for children to hang out and enjoy a competitive game of pool or darts; or they can relax in the separate snug, away from the main living room, which has its own 32 inch smart TV.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Always a parent friendly favourite, this holiday cottage offers a substantial 12-person hot tub perfect for the whole group to unwind and relax at the end of a busy day!
If you’re planning a celebration and need more space to party, it’s possible for an additional fee to book a separate beautiful two-storey converted granary building on-site.
The enclosed back porch has utility essentials including a washing machine and tumble dryer, meaning parents don’t need to travel home with a week’s worth of dirty laundry. And cots, high chairs and other baby and toddler essentials are available to borrow.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay. EV charging is available, as is WiFi.
