Broadgate Farm Cottages are located on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and offer a great base for exploring the many attractions in this beautiful part of the country, from the impressive coast and the city of Hull to historic York and many popular market towns. Family friendly attractions in the local area include the Living Seas Centre at Flamborough and the petting farm at Honeysuckle Farm; or why not try ten pin bowling or indoor climbing? York is within a 45 minute drive from the cottages, and home to major attractions like the Jorvik Centre and the National Railway Museum.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are seven five-star gold cottages in total at Broadgate Farm, all sympathetically converted from original farm buildings, and now providing comfortable and luxurious family friendly holiday accommodation with tasteful furnishings and well-proportioned living spaces. Wood burning stoves and underfloor heating guarantee a cosy stay even in the cooler winter months, while each property benefits from its own private fully enclosed garden for making the most of the summer sun.
Property sizes vary: several sleep four in two bedrooms, some sleep 5+1 or 6, and the largest cottages accommodate 8+1 in four bedrooms, 9+2 in 4 bedrooms and 12+1 in 6 bedrooms respectively. This provides an excellent variety of holiday spaces suitable for all family sizes and configurations.
For an idea of prices, a family of four visiting Broadgate Farm can expect to pay from £1150 per week during the summer holiday peak season; while a larger property, like four-bedroom Cart House, costs around £3000 at the same time of year (though is big enough to accommodate 2-3 families sharing!). Short breaks are offered all year round and there is also flexibility around start dates to suit your needs.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottages at Broadgate Farm are surrounded by safe grassed areas in front of the fields, providing plenty of open space for youngsters to play. Children will also enjoy meeting the resident farm animals, which often include free range hens, piglets, sheep and lambs.
While not based at the holiday complex itself, you’ll find plenty of activities for children in the local area: a playground in the local village, and a swimming pool and soft play centre just two miles away.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cosy fire pit area at Broadgate Farm is a particular highlight – a great place for mums and dads to relax in the evening with a glass of wine in hand.
The nearest village to the cottages is just a mile away, meaning there are welcoming pubs and a local shop within easy reach – perfect for grabbing an easy dinner or a few last-minute provisions.
A range of baby and toddler equipment including cots and high chairs is available to borrow free of charge.
For mums and dads looking for a special holiday experience, outside caterers can be booked to deliver home-cooked food right to your door, or even a private chef to cook on site. Spa treatments can also be organised for the ultimate in holiday pampering.
Pets are welcome for a small additional charge, and free WiFi is available. EV charging is available.
