Weare Cottage is well placed for guests wishing to explore both North Devon and North Cornwall, with easy access to Dartmoor and Exmoor for nature walks and wildlife spotting. The nearest sandy beaches are just 15 minutes away at Instow, or take a trip to famous Westward Ho! where RNLI lifeguards operate during the summer months. Popular family friendly attractions including the Big Sheep and Milky Way are also within a short drive of the cottage.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Weare Cottage is an immaculate detached self-catering property offering spacious and stylish holidays. The modern property sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms – a king size en-suite, a twin and a super-king. This makes it ideal for a multi-generational stay with the grandparents.
Downstairs you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen diner, a main sitting room with cosy wood burner, an additional family room with French doors (an ideal place for the kids to watch TV while adults are cooking!), a south-facing conservatory and a study room. Outside, the property benefits from a large and private south facing decked terrace with comfortable outdoor seating, sun loungers, dining furniture and gas BBQ.
For an idea of prices, a week-long stay during the summer holiday peak costs around £1895. Prices fall as low as £825 out of season, and short breaks are also possible.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
A vast array of equipment for babies and toddlers is available on request including travel cot, high chair, stair gate, bed guards, night lights and so on. There’s also children’s cutlery and tableware; toys, books and DVDs to borrow; and buckets and spades for the beach. Plenty of room saved in the car for other more important things!
Within a brief stroll of Weare Cottage is a village park with play equipment and basketball hoop. There are numerous circular walks from the doorstep through woodlands and alongside the attractive River Torridge, and there’s also an access point onto the Tarka Trail – a superb traffic free cycling and walking route perfect for youngsters looking to build their two-wheeled confidence.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Mums and dads will enjoy the proximity of a welcoming village local pub within easy walking distance serving a range of great food – an easy mealtime option or opportunity for a quick family drink in the sunshine!
