Hall Farm is situated in the beautiful White Peak area of the Peak District. The impressive Thor’s Cave is just a 15 minute walk away and visible from the cottages, while many other short walks through the scenic surrounding countryside can be enjoyed right from your doorstep. Family friendly cycling is available along the Manifold Trail, a disused railway track, and the famous stepping stones at Dovedale are just five miles away. The nearby market towns of Leek and Ashbourne are also within easy reach, while popular destinations like Alton Towers (and CBeebies Land) can be readily accessed from Hall Farm too.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are three welcoming self-catering holiday cottages at Hall Farm. Tastefully converted from former farm outbuildings, the stone-built properties now offer comfortable, cosy and well-equipped holiday accommodation for visiting families.
The three cottages at Hall Farm vary in size: Dovedale sleeps three people in two bedrooms (one four poster); Manifold sleeps four people in two bedrooms; and Thor’s accommodates five people in two bedrooms (one with triple bunk). All the cottages benefit from a spacious open plan living space, well-appointed kitchens, dining areas and comfortable bedrooms. Each also has its own garden space with lawns and seating, perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco, or an evening BBQ in the sunshine.
For an idea of prices, a seven-night stay during the school summer holiday peak costs between £830 and £860 depending on property size, or around £1720 for a fortnight. Short breaks are also available out of season; for example, £375 for a three night long weekend (Fri-Mon) in October, or £400 for four nights Mon-Fri.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Hall Farm benefits from a wonderful and impressive outdoor space, with stunning views across the Manifold Valley and Thors Cave. The wide open gardens provide the perfect outdoor space for little ones to explore and let off steam; this is also a lovely spot for parents to relax while the children play. Play equipment including football goals, swing ball and badminton is provided, along with a wendy house and climbing wall for more adventurous kids.
For wetter days, look no further than Hall Farm’s recently renovated heated indoor playbarn. This is home to a pool table, table tennis and a wide variety of other toys, craft equipment and games to borrow. A toddler area with gym mats, slide and play tent is a great space for younger tots to enjoy.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottages at Hall Farm are situated on the outskirts of the pretty Peak District village of Wetton, which benefits from both a family friendly pub and a lovely tea room; relaxed lunches or evening meals are therefore an easy option for parents who don’t fancy cooking. The village also has a large playing field and play area for little ones to enjoy.
The owners of Hall Farm pride themselves on a green and sustainable approach to holiday making, and fresh eggs are available from Hall Farm’s resident hens.
On-site laundry facilities are available for guests to use for a small fee, and there are drying racks in each cottage for wet clothing. A wide variety of baby and toddler equipment – including travel cots, stair gates, baby baths, high chairs, bed guards and more – can be provided on request too, reducing the amount of kit you’ll need to take with you.
Pets are permitted to stay in the cottages at Hall Farm for a small additional fee. WiFi is provided in each property.

There are large spaces to the rear and front of each cottage, suitable for relaxing and dining and soaking up the stunning scenery. The property is open to the adjacent fields, but being off a quiet country lane and not overlooked, you get a great sense of privacy, with uninterrupted views of the spectacular countryside all to yourself. “
