These cottages are set near the Victorian coastal resort of Westward Ho! Local attractions nearby include a beautiful beach, tennis courts, surf schools and more. The charming market town of Bideford is just two miles away, while family friendly days out within easy reach include The Big Sheep and the Milky Way Adventure Park.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are four self-catering properties here (set amongst a total of nine): Goldings (sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms); Fuggles Cottage (sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms); and Casscade Cottage and Bramling Cross, each sleeping 8.
The cottages are cosy converted stone barns set in picturesque rolling countryside. Each has its own private enclosed gravelled garden area, while there’s also a shared BBQ area with picnic tables and garden chairs.
For an idea of prices, a family of four staying in Goldings Cottage over the summer holidays can expect to pay around £1500/week. The largest cottage, sleeping 8 – so big enough for two families to share – costs around £2300/week.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Visitors of all ages will enjoy the cottages’ shared 40ft outdoor pool, which is heated between May and September – perfect for a splash in the sunshine. There’s also a communal children’s play area with swings, slides, football goal posts and swing ball. Children can also let off steam exploring the complex’s safe 15 acres of farmland. And you can enjoy saying hello to the friendly on-site goats too!
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Those travelling with younger tots will find a travel cot and highchair available to borrow if you need them, saving space in the car. Handily for mum and dad, there’s an excellent pub/restaurant next door (making dinner times easy!) and the beach and shops are well within walking distance – Westward Ho! is roughly 15-20 minutes walk away.
Dogs are permitted to stay in the cottages for a small additional charge, and WiFi is available. There’s also a shared utility room with coin operated washing machines and tumble dryer.
IN SUMMARY…
We like the look of these cottages. The outdoor heated pool and play area will keep children happily entertained, while popular Westward Ho! is well within walking distance when you fancy lunch in a local café or a trip to the beach.
