North Devon Resort is located on the edge of the popular seaside town of Ilfracombe. It’s a convenient base for exploring the nearby harbour, cafes, shops and seafront, as well as being only a 15 minute drive from Woolacombe Beach – regularly recognised as one of the country’s top family beaches. Surfing destinations like Croyde and Saunton Sands are also within easy reach.
There’s plenty to explore nearby, including beautiful walking routes and wildlife-spotting opportunities at Exmoor National Park.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
North Devon Resort offers a range of accommodation options perfect for everyone from couples to larger family groups. Guests can choose from hotel-style double rooms, compact studios, one to three bedroom apartments, and there are various premium sea-view options.
Self-catering apartments are well equipped with kitchens, dining areas, lounges and central heating, providing everything needed for a comfortable family stay.
For families looking for something a little more special, the resort’s luxury residences offer upgraded interiors, sea views and private outdoor spaces, with selected options also offering private hot tubs and sauna facilities.
The resort also caters well for guests with additional needs, offering accessible accommodation with adapted wet rooms, wider doorways and step-free access. Dog-friendly accommodation is available too.
For an idea of prices, two bedroom apartments sleeping a family of four start at £143/night, while a seven person Vista Seaview with hot tub and sauna starts at £204/night.

A big draw for families visiting North Devon Resort is the excellent range of indoor facilities.
The heated indoor swimming pool is open throughout the year, with lifeguards on duty and dedicated family swim sessions. Elsewhere, and particularly helpful for parents with younger children, is the resort’s large three-tier soft play area with ropewalks, slides, jump holes and more – plus a sensory play area with Giant Connect 4, Activity Walls, Sequin Walls and more.
Older children haven’t been forgotten either. The PlayZone includes PS5 consoles, Nintendo Switch gaming stations, iPads, air hockey, table football, table tennis and giant games. There’s even a Beanbag Cinema area, creating a relaxed space for children and teenagers to hang out and watch a great range of films. MultiBall is also coming soon, offering diverse games which perfectly balance physical and digital entertainment – perfect for enhancing fitness and coordination while having great fun too!
During school holidays, the resort also runs its Monkey Tribe Kids Club offering a full day programme of fun, games and workshops – alongside a programme of organised family activities and entertainment, giving children plenty of opportunities to get involved during their stay.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Mums and dads will enjoy the convenience of the on-site Monkey Puzzle restaurant, café and bar which is the social hub of the resort and serves a range of locally sourced fresh food and drinks all day. There’s also a shop selling essentials and local produce – particularly useful when you’re staying in self-catering accommodation and don’t want to head out for every item you need.
The on-site sauna is the perfect place for parents to soothe tired muscles and unwind after a busy day of holidaymaking – as are the private hot tubs available with some accommodation options. The Sea Salt Spa offers a range of indulgent pamper treatments from massages and body wraps to facials and hot stone treatments.
Families travelling with babies and toddlers can hire useful equipment including cots and highchairs, helping reduce the amount of gear that needs packing into the car. Free WiFi is available throughout the resort, and all accommodation benefits from parking. There are also charging points for EVs.
