The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is located on a peninsula on the shores of Loch Leven at the foot of Glencoe, near Fort William in the Scottish Highlands. There’s plenty to see and do in the area including boat trips, castles to explore, distilleries to enjoy and outdoor pursuits including walking, climbing and watersports. Ten of the west coast’s Hebridean islands are also accessible within a day trip of the hotel including Mull and Iona; and the Isle of Skye is also within easy reach.
Family friendly attractions in the area include the bustling seaside town of Oban with its Sea Life Centre and distillery; the Natural History Museum on Ardnamurchan; Loch Ness and neighbouring Urquhart Castle; and the Jacobite steam train which runs from Fort William to Mallaig and back (more famously known as the Hogwarts Express route featuring the famous Glenfinnan viaduct from the Harry Potter films!).
Standard rooms at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel offer modern, en-suite facilities with fantastic views across to the mountains of Morvern. There are also feature rooms at the hotel with patio doors onto the loughside; these rooms can be configured as twin, double or family combinations sleeping up to two adults and 2-3 children.
