Stones Throw Cottage is located in the beautiful seaside village of Mundesley, which has been featured on Channel 4’s ‘Village of the Year’. It’s the location which really makes this a perfect place for a family holiday – the cottage is just yards from one of Norfolk’s finest blue flag beaches. All the amenities of the village are on your doorstep including a family friendly pub, cafes and crazy golf.
Mundesley is located on the north coast of Norfolk, around a 20-minute drive down the coast from Cromer and a 50 minute drive north of Great Yarmouth. Both Cromer and Great Yarmouth are traditional seaside towns and are worth a visit with the family with their great pubs, delis and cafes where you can enjoy fresh seasonal food whilst taking in the fantastic seaside scenery. The cottage is also just a short drive from Bewilderwood, North Norfolk Railway, and three National Trust properties.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Stones Throw Cottage is beautifully furnished throughout and is equipped with everything you would need on a family holiday. The cottage has two double bedrooms and a single bedroom and has a travel cot too. There is off road parking for one car and an enclosed, south facing courtyard garden with a BBQ and chimenea. The cottage has central heating plus a log burner in the lounge with a complimentary basket of logs provided, ensuring a cosy environment all year round. The cottage costs £700 for a week in the summer and drops to as little as £475 in the winter months; it’s also possible to book the cottage for 2 or 3 nights in the winter months.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottage is a short stroll from the blue-flagged sandy beach which is long and wide and perfect for children of all ages to build sandcastles, dip in the sea or play in the shallow pools which are left behind when the tide goes out. The beach is life guard patrolled during the summer months so extremely safe too. On the beach you will also find a beach café, toilets and a shop hiring wind breaks and deck chairs – and of course selling ice creams!
The cottage is on a quiet cul-de-sac which leads directly onto a very large open space which has within it a excellent children’s park, zip wire, a skate/scooter park, an outdoor mini gym, crazy golf, amusements, and a multi-use games area for playing football and basketball. This alone should be enough to offer the children days of outdoor fun!
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottage comes fully equipped with baby and toddler essentials including a travel cot, high chair, safety gates, baby bath, baby monitor, children’s cutlery, plastic tableware and a changing mat. The owners – themselves having young children – have added an extra touch by providing a great selection of up to date DVDs, body boards for the beach, buckets and spades, and enough toys to keep the children occupied on a rainy day or when mum and dad want some quiet time. There’s also free WiFi.
The cottage has a log burner in the lounge and a basket of logs is provided- fantastic to unwind in front of with a glass of wine when the children are in bed. There’s a family friendly pub and cafes all within walking distance so why not take the family out for dinner and take a break from cooking?

For this attractive family friendly cottage it’s all about “location location location” – and for only £700 for a week in the summer peak, what better place to visit for a family holiday by the seaside!
