South Lakeland Leisure Village is located within 15 minutes of the Lake District National Park, and is also perfectly placed for day trips to the Yorkshire Dales. It’s easily accessible by car, being just a five minute drive from junction 35 of the M6. The Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also on your doorstep, and Morecambe Bay is just eight miles to the south.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are a variety of child and family friendly lodges at South Lakeland Leisure Village to suit all requirements. Many have lake views and outdoor decking, some are pet friendly, and some have hot tubs.
Sleeping between two and eight people, the holiday lodges can easily accommodate large family groups or even two families sharing. Lodge options include Bronze (sleeping up to four in 2-3 bedrooms), Silver (up to eight in 2-4 bedrooms), Gold (up to six people in 2-3 bedrooms) and Platinum (up to six people in 2-3 bedrooms). As the names suggest, Platinum and Gold lodges offer the most luxurious accommodation – the most spacious living areas, state of the art equipment and breathtaking views – while the Bronze lodges offer a more economical option for staying at the park and enjoying the range of facilities on offer.
For an idea of prices, a Silver lodge sleeping four can be found for around £980/week during the summer peak, while an eight person lodge of the same specification is around £1240. You can expect to pay from £1500 upwards for a higher specification lodge.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There’s plenty of safe outdoor space for your children to enjoy at South Lakeland; and sailing is available on the large on-site lake. And for rainier days, or just for the daily fun of splashing around and letting off steam, there’s a fantastic indoor heated swimming pool (leisure pass required).
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Mums and dads will enjoy the relaxing potential of the modern health and fitness centre at South Lakeland, which benefits from a gym, steam room, and beauty spa offering an array of luxurious treatments. Some of the lodges also come with their own private hot tubs, perfect for unwinding under the stars at the end of a busy day.
Dinner times are made easy at the on-site restaurant, the Water’s Edge, which serves traditional British dishes as well as Mediterranean, Indian and Italian favourites. The restaurant also has an attached beer garden, allowing alfresco drinks and dining in the warmer months. Takeaway food is also available.
For those who enjoy a spot of fishing, the on-site lake contains trout, perch, bream, carp and pike. And some of the lakeside lodges allow fishing from your front door! A number of fantastic golf courses can also be found nearby.
Cots and high chairs are available for hire for a small extra charge. Some of the accommodation is pet friendly, and WiFi is available.
