The cottage is located in the south Devonshire countryside, near the pretty village of Chulmleigh which has steep, winding streets and a range of local cafes, shops and galleries. Family friendly days out in the local area include various National Trust properties, the Big Sheep and the Milky Way; and the Exmoor National Park is just a few miles away.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
The cottage was recently refurbished and offer stylish, modern self-catering accommodation set in the grounds of an 80-acre working farm. The property is ‘upside down’, with two bedrooms on the ground floor (sleeping up to four) and the living areas upstairs – an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with original wooden beams and plenty of comfortable seating. Outside the cottage is an enclosed private garden with patio and lawn, garden furniture and BBQ.
Prices are very competitive, including at peak times – a summer week in late July or August can be yours for just £1120. We don’t think you’ll find many other cottages with similar facilities for this price! Out of season (and bear in mind some facilities like the pool may not be in use), a week’s stay starts at just £390.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There’s lots to keep children of all ages content at this cottage. There’s a shared heated and enclosed outdoor swimming pool (open from mid May until the end of September); an outdoor play area; a games room with table tennis and pool table; and a tennis lawn. So much to do, you might never need leave the holiday cottage some days! Guests are also encouraged to explore the many pathways which cross the 80 acres of working farmland, enjoying the diverse range of animals and plants on view during the different seasons.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Parents will enjoy this cottage for its safe open space and wonderful facilities – there’s something reassuring about knowing your kids will be occupied whatever the weather! This holiday is set in the heart of the Devon countryside, so it’s quite secluded; perfect for those looking for peaceful rest and recuperation. WiFi is available, and pets are also welcome in the property.

For a relaxing and rustic countryside stay with the kids we think this family friendly cottage looks like a perfect venue – some fantastic on-site facilities, and a great base for exploring all that Devon has to offer. The prices are very competitive too!
