There are a wealth of family friendly days out within easy reach of Pont Tyweli. Explore the beautiful beaches and seaside eateries at New Quay, Mwnt, Aberporth or Llangrannog; visit the spectacular castles at Laugharne, Llansteffan or Cilgerran; or spend the day at popular attractions like Cardigan Island Farm Park, the Welsh Wildlife Centre or the National Botanic Gardens. There are plenty of amazing local walks suitable for all ages too.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Accommodation at Pont Tyweli takes the form of three beautiful geodesic domes. Each dome sleeps either four or five people, with a master king bed and a bunk bed with either two single beds or a double bed underneath.
The domes are designed to provide comfortable, cosy and luxurious accommodation with all the facilities you’ll need – an en-suite bathroom and shower, a dining table and four chairs (plus an outdoor picnic bench), an outdoor cooking area with built in BBQ and fire pit, plus an indoor kitchenette with gas hob and fridge. There’s even a log burner to keep guests warm and cosy whatever the weather’s doing. Solar powered lighting and USB charging points are also available.
For an idea of prices, a long weekend (Fri-Mon) during the summer holidays coasts from £525, while a week at the same time of year costs from £1225.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Glamping is the perfect introduction to sleeping under the stars with the kids with none of the fuss of camping: everything’s provided and ready for your arrival, and these domes provide a great place for families to spend quality time together without compromising on comfort or facilities.
Glamping is all about enjoying the outdoors away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and the setting at Pont Tyweli is just perfect for that – think ball games in the field, board games in the dome, pizza making as the sun sets and gathering together around the campfire for toasted marshmallows and spooky stories.
A new children’s play area is also in the works soon promising further safe space for visiting children to enjoy and let off steam.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The wood fired hot tub with each dome is a real luxury and the perfect place for mums and dads (and let’s be honest, probably the kids too) to relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Why not hire a pizza oven for al fresco family dinners or a projector for home movie nights in the comfort of your dome? These luxuries come at a small extra charge but promise a night to remember for kids and adults alike.
Towels are provided for use in the bathroom and hot tub, minimising the packing for parents.
It’s only a short walk to the nearest town, Llandysul, if you need to buy essentials or fancy an easy pub dinner.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and there are plenty of places to take them locally.
