#parentpanel 3: The Valley, Cornwall
The Valley is a unique collection of luxury self-catering holiday cottages set in 13 acres of Cornish gardens and woodlands, only a few miles from Truro and Falmouth. The Valley’s self-contained complex includes indoor and outdoor pools, play areas, tennis and squash courts plus there’s babysitting, a fitness suite and an on-site bar and restaurant.
The Valley offers a perfect base to explore St Ives, Falmouth, St Mawes, Newquay and Fowey, all of which are within 30 minutes. Family friendly attractions nearby include the Eden Project along with a wide range of theme parks, water parks, wildlife centres and museums.
Our friends at The Valley have kindly offered our #parentpanel members the chance to win the following fantastic prize:
- a three or four night stay (Fri-Mon or Mon-Fri) in a two bedroom cottage (sleeps up to five plus a cot);
- holiday to be taken between 18 September-1 November 2015 or between 1 April-30 June 2016 (excludes school holidays);
- Includes free use of all on-site leisure facilities.
The topic for your blog this #parentpanel round should be “child friendly holidays in Cornwall”. As always, how you interpret the topic is entirely up to you, so long as the Valley features.
Please ensure your blog entries include a link to http://www.thevalleycornwall.co.uk/cottages/family-friendly along with the Parent Friendly Stays website.
The competition launches on Wednesday 17 June 2015 and the deadline for your entries is 5pm on Friday 24 July. The owners of the Valley will then choose a winner who we’ll announce before the end of July.
Standard #parentpanel rules apply – see here for a reminder.

And the winner is…
The owners of The Valley have been furiously deliberating over their favourite #parentpanel blog… And their winner is – she’s done it again! – Aby at You Baby Me Mummy. Here’s what Megan from The Valley had to say:
We narrowed down our favourite blog to three: Aby at You Baby Me Mummy, Eilidh at Mummy and Monkeys and Lindsey at Newcastle Family Life.
The overall winner is Aby at You Baby Me Mummy. The comparison review between The Valley and home had a different take and made us laugh too!
Congratulations to Aby on her prize, and well done to everyone else for some entertaining blog posts. The next #parentpanel competition will be announced soon!
