Our review of Littlesea Holiday Park

Family friendly accommodation at Littlesea Holiday Park takes the form of comfortable caravans and luxury lodges.  There are a range of caravans to suit budgets and requirements – from the standard range through to deluxe, prestige and platinum – and for those who only accept the best, you’ll find models with their own private decking and even sea views. Size-wise, caravans come with a choice of two or three bedrooms, sleeping up to six people in total.

Luxury lodges also come with two or three bedrooms, sleeping four or six people respectively, and benefit from contemporary open plan design, light and airy living spaces, French doors and full height windows.

For an idea of prices, a week’s stay at Littlesea for a family of four during the summer holiday peak costs from £870 in a standard caravan, £1010 in a deluxe caravan, £1385 in a prestige caravan with decking, or just over £2000 for the most luxurious platinum model with private decking and sea view.  Note that all these prices include the ‘stay and play’ option providing access to some of the on-site facilities like the pools; it’s possible to stay for cheaper without this, but we strongly recommend the stay and play option to make the most of your family friendly break at Littlesea.

Littlesea is full of child friendly facilities offering fun for visitors of all ages, whatever the weather.  There are heated swimming pools both inside and outside, plus a paddling pool perfect for younger tots.  There are also four outdoor play areas, an all-weather sports range, two multi-sports courts, pool tables, a nature trail, tennis courts, adventure golf, an amusements arcade and bungee trampolines.

Other activities available at an additional cost include Learn to Bike sessions, archery coaching, 4×4 off roaders, junior segways and more.

Lunch and dinner times are a doddle at Littlesea.  There’s the family friendly Mash and Barrel restaurant offering dining options to suit all tastes, while those preferring takeaway will find fish and chips or freshly-prepared pizza.

For evening entertainment for the whole family, try the ShowBar venue offering a variety of entertaining acts.

WiFi is available in the main complex, and you’ll find handy on-site facilities for grown-ups like a launderette, coffee shop, mini supermarket, children’s shop, and cash machine too.  Pets are able to stay at Littlesea, and there are many beach walks and nature trails on your doorstep to wear out your four-legged friends.

This is a fantastic Dorset holiday park with a wide range of facilities on-site for kids and grown-ups alike; and the superb Jurassic Coast on your doorstep.
