Perran Sands is located in Perranporth, a bustling seaside resort town on Cornwall’s north coast. Family friendly days out within easy reach include Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay Zoo, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Paradise Park, Flambards Theme Park, Lands End and St Ives. Not forgetting, of course, a vast array of family friendly beaches including Penhale Sands, Trevaunance Cove, Holywell Bay Beach and Porthminster Beach.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Perran Sands has a range of accommodation options to suit all requirements. These include caravans – from standard quality through to more spacious Deluxe, indulgent Prestige and luxurious Platinum with deck options – and chalets – which again come in a range of options from Standard through to Comfort and Premier. We also really like the look of Perran Sands’ Beach Houses, which offer spacious and contemporary holiday accommodation with beautiful Cornish sea views and your very own hot tub. And there are also glamping options including Super Tents, Safari Tents, Yurts and Geo Domes.
Prices vary depending on whether you choose the ‘Stay’ option, or the ‘Stay and Play’ – the latter of which includes swimming pool and entertainment venue access, along with access to some of the activities. We’d recommend the latter option for anyone visiting with their children, given you’ll undoubtedly want to make the most of the child friendly facilities on offer.
For an idea of prices, a standard caravan sleeping six in three bedrooms cost around £1880/week during the summer peak including Stay and Play; a Prestige Caravan, sleeping up to eight people, costs from £2400/week; a Comfort Plus Chalet sleeping six can be yours from £2230/week; and glamping can be found from £1330/week. Short breaks can also be booked.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Perran Sands has direct access to the nearby beach, making it the perfect holiday choice for those whose children enjoy nothing more than playing in the sunshine with their buckets and spades.
If that’s not enough, though, then Perran Sands has an overwhelming number of activities available on-site to occupy children of all ages. There’s a heated outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool with flume and lazy river, a paddling pool, no less than six outdoor play areas, a nature trail, a multi-sports range, bungee trampolines, pool tables, adventure golf course and amusements arcade. What more do you need?!
Many other exciting activities can be booked for an additional fee – archery coaching, segways, kart hire, bike coaching, sand art, pottery, bug hunts, den building, pond dipping, paddleboarding coaching and more.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Parents will enjoy the family friendly nature of the accommodation and extensive facilities at Perran Sands – you’ll never need to pack the kids into the car for a day out if you don’t want to!
The complex offers no less than six restaurants making dinner time a doddle – no cooking required! This includes the Surf Bay beach themed café; Cook’s Fish and Chips; and Papa John’s Pizza. There’s also a sports bar for a relaxing end of day drink, and the Live Lounge offering family friendly evening entertainment including shows, live music, comedy and dance.
You’ll also benefit from useful on-site facilities including a supermarket, gift shop (perfect for toys and holiday mementos), swim shop (ideal for costumes and goggles!), laundrette and handy equipment hire service – no need to cram everything in the boot!
Dogs are permitted to stay in some of the Perran Sands accommodation, and the neighbouring Perranporth Beach is dog friendly for those essential daily walks.
IN SUMMARY…
What an incredibly well-equipped holiday park Perran Sands is! There’s such a range of accommodation options, and family friendly activities on site – not to mention the beach on your doorstep – we can imagine spending a relaxing week (or longer!) at Perran Sands without ever needing to venture further afield.
