Torridge House Farm Cottages are tucked away in the Devon countryside, with unspoilt panoramic views of wooded valleys, rolling hills and distant farms. On the edge of the village of Little Torrington, there are a wide range of activities to suit both children and grown-ups in the nearby area, and the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly are close by.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Torridge House Cottages is a family friendly complex of self catering cottages based on a farm in the north Devon countryside, near the tiny village of Torrington. There are a total of nine cottages of different sizes, from two bedroom properties sleeping four people up to a four bedroom cottage sleeping 8 plus cot and toddler bed, and some cottages can be joined together to accommodate larger groups. At Parent Friendly Stays we think the prices at Torridge House provide excellent value for money, with a week-long holiday for a family of four at peak season costing under £940. Off-peak you can find the same holiday for as little as £504 for a week, or £366 for a short break.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Despite the affordable prices there’s no shortage of activities to keep families occupied at any time of year. There’s a 36′ by 18′ outdoor heated swimming pool, including baby pool, which is open from May half term to September and for the benefit of parents is situated within a walled area. There’s also a games room with table tennis, pool, air hockey, table football and indoor sand play. Outside you’ll find plenty of space for a game of football or a run around, and there are also garden push along and toddler toys for the little ones. The gardens and grounds at Torridge House are home to a variety of animals and children are invited to help out with the daily feeding time; at the last count there were kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, chicks, hens, ducks, mice and pigs! And if your children somehow manage to exhaust the activities on site, which seems unlikely, the golden beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow are only a twenty minute drive away.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Mums and dads will benefit from the well equipped cottages at Torridge House including cots, highchairs, stair gates and nursery cutlery. The gardens and cottages are mostly surrounded by fields and private woodland with no public access, providing you with a safe and private place to relax. Family pets are welcome at some of the cottages (check before you book) and there’s fast free WiFi and smart televisions in all cottages, and private office space available. You can also take advantage of an experienced therapist living nearby if you fancy treating yourself to a massage or treatment, and next door is a craft pottery for painting, clay work and potting on potters’ wheels.
