Pitt Farm is a short drive from the popular south Devon towns of Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Totnes and Dartmouth, making it the perfect base for a holiday exploring this beautiful part of south Devon. The South West Coast Path and Dartmoor National Park are both within easy reach.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are seven charming, comfortable and well-equipped self-catering properties in total at Pitt Farm. The cottages are converted from original farm buildings and now offer spacious family friendly accommodation. Each of the properties (except one) has a large private garden or terrace, including charcoal BBQ.
Many are suitable for larger families or extended family gatherings, with the two biggest cottages (Pelham and Martingale) each accommodating up to 12 guests in either five or six bedrooms. Other properties variously sleep between 6 and 8 people in 3 or 4 bedrooms, while the smallest cottage is a cosy space for a couple. Each can also accommodate additional cots.
For an idea of prices, a week-long stay in the summer holiday peak costs around £2700 in one of Pitt Farm’s six bed properties, or around £5000 in a 12 bed cottage. Prices are lower during the off season, and short breaks are also possible.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
There are loads of fantastic on-site facilities making Pitt Farm a great place for younger visitors.
The indoor heated swimming pool is a highlight, offering unlimited fun whatever the weather. Floats, noodles and water toys are provided and the facilities include showers and changing rooms.
Outdoors, there’s a brilliant outdoor playground with a large climbing frame, enormous trampoline, swings and monkey bars – plus space for football, a twin 30 metre zipwire and woodlands for den building and tree climbing. Not to mention a full-size tennis court perfect for players of all abilities, and with rackets and balls available to borrow, plus a basketball hoop and a boules court! Something for everyone.
Adjacent to the playground is an indoor play barn with table tennis, table football and arcade video games – a great place for slightly older kids or teens to hang out.
Animal feeding is on offer each morning (whatever the weather!) with visiting children encouraged to come and enjoy the unique and memorable experience of hand-feeding the friendly pigs, chickens and alpacas.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Mums and dads will be grateful for the on-site honesty shop at Pitt Farm, stocked with useful essentials, local luxuries and freshly baked bread and croissants.
For easy dinners, there’s a lovely local pub around a 15 minute walk away.
Three of the cottages at Pitt Farm are pet friendly (Martingale, Kimblewick and Mullen), and there are many local beaches and public spaces perfect for dog walks nearby.
All baby and toddler equipment can be borrowed as required, including cots and mattresses, stair gates, high chairs, plastic bowls and changing mats.
