Somerley House is also worth visiting, with its rolling parkland and exquisite picture gallery. Finally, if you want to experience the mystical world of the Neolithic period, then Stonehenge is a no-brainer. On the off chance you start craving the sight of civilization, the medieval city of Salisbury should provide both intellectual and visual stimulation, since it’s such a quaint place with many historic pubs, thatched cottages, and ancient churches.
