We’re happy to consider listing any holidays which match our key philosophy: plenty for the kids to do.. and something for the adults too!
We do have certain criteria which we’re looking for (otherwise this website would be little more than another bland directory featuring thousands of holidays all over the country!). So before contacting us, please read a bit more about us and what we’re trying to achieve. You might also find it useful to have a look at the parent friendly features with which we categorise our listings to make sure you’re suitable.
If you think your child friendly cottage or hotel fits the bill and we haven’t found you yet ourselves, just drop us a message to let us know you’d like to be featured and we’ll do the rest.
The Parent Friendly Stays team will develop a bespoke listing for your holiday property including photos, a map, a summary of key family friendly features, our detailed review of your property, a ‘word from the owner’ section (that’s you!) and a promotional video, if you have one.
We’ll then add your listing to the appropriate category pages by location (e.g. holidays in Cornwall) and feature (e.g. holidays with a swimming pool), ensuring that our visitors will easily be able to find you in all the right places. We’ll also add you to our all-in-one map and our popular deals and special offers page.
If that wasn’t enough we also regularly feature our holidays on our Facebook and Twitter pages, and our regular email newsletter too.

Parent Friendly Stays has been around for many years and as a result Google trusts us as a reliable source of information. We rank highly on a large number of relevant, long tail keyword searches – often towards the very top of the organic (non-paid) results. This means the thousands of visitors who come to PFS are looking for exactly the types of family friendly holidays we offer, and therefore our visitors convert frequently into booking enquiries and confirmed bookings.
Just have a look on Google yourself and see how highly we rank for a wide variety of keywords! The last time we checked we were on the front page of Google for the following terms (amongst many others):

What information do you need?
Ensuring our listings are as accurate and up to date as possible can be a time-consuming process. Once you’ve been accepted onto our site, it would therefore help us if you could provide:
- a summary of all your key parent friendly features;
- any high resolution photographs you’d like us to include;
- a unique quote from you for the ‘a word from the owner’ section of your listing (what extra information can you provide which would appeal to our visitors?);
- details of any late deals or special offers you’re currently running.
We charge £91.99/year for an annual listing on Parent Friendly Stays. That’s it – no commission or any other costs.
We offer a 20% friends discount – £73.99/year – for those who link back to us from their own websites (either a simple text link or a badge – your choice).

It is not currently possible for property owners to directly edit their own listings. But in the event something needs changing or updating, just get in touch with us and we’ll happily take care of it for you.
At the moment our listings and search results are entirely organic so it’s down to chance where your holiday appears. In future we plan to make available some options for prioritising certain listings, including a handful of opportunities to promote your holiday across the site. You might also want to take a look at our tried and tested section, where we review in detail a selection of family friendly holidays which the Parent Friendly Stays team have visited in person. We promote these reviews extensively on social media (including paid adverts) and they tend to do very well in Google too, achieving first place listings in most cases (try searching for ‘Bosinver review’ or ‘Bluestone Wales review’). We don’t really do small print at Parent Friendly Stays – what you see is what you get!
But there are a couple of things to be aware of. Firstly, all our holiday reviews are personally written by us and are our honest assessment of the holiday in question. So while we’re always happy to update our listings or correct errors if they slip through, the final editorial control rests with us. And secondly, since the internet works best as a visual medium, please be aware that we may use photographs of your holidays throughout our website and social media presence – both to help advertise your own holidays, and to add a bit of colour to our thematic pages and blogs. By agreeing to a listing on Parent Friendly Stays, you accept these terms.
