Court Barton is situated less than a mile away from the beach at Thurlestone Sands – perfect for sunbathing, swimming and watersports. The village of Thurlestone is a short distance further away, while the beautiful Salcombe estuary and its golden beaches are just three miles away. Shops, restaurants and pubs can be found in the pretty market town of Kingsbridge just a ten minute drive away.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
There are twelve cottages in all at Court Barton, offering a flexible range of family friendly accommodation to suit all requirements. The cottages, converted Georgian barns, sleep between 4 and 8 people.
The Loft at Court Barton, for example, is a light and spacious dog friendly property which sleeps eight in three bedrooms. The arguably most impressive property, Round House, also sleeps eight and offers a spacious semi-circular living room with polished wood floor, vaulted ceilings and fabulous views.
For an idea of prices, cottage number 1 at Court Barton – sleeping four in two bedrooms and set over one level – costs £1100/week in the summer peak. One of the larger properties, like Round House, starts at £1350 out of season rising to just under £4000 – but remember that’s a price for eight people!
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Court Barton offers a range of excellent child friendly facilities including no less than two swimming pools – one indoor open all year, one outdoor open May-Sept – an all-weather tennis court and a croquet lawn. Enough to keep the most active children entertained!
The extensive and safe four acre grounds also include two attractive courtyards and orchard – delightful spaces for strolling in the sunshine with your toddler. And older kids will enjoy the games room facilities with table tennis and table football.
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
The cottages at Court Barton are set in a superbly peaceful location near the hamlet of South Huish, and in sight of the sea between Salcombe and Thurlestone. As outlined above, the location of Court Barton means the beautiful beaches of Devon are right on your doorstep, while the facilities on site will ensure your little ones get straight to sleep at the end of a busy day!
WiFi is available and pets are welcome in some properties.

At Parent Friendly Stays we love a family friendly holiday with swimming pool – it’s the best way of entertaining the kids and wearing them out! So a place like Court Barton with two different pools, one indoor and one outdoor, is definitely our kind of destination!
