what we say: the Parent Friendly Stays review of this holiday
Here’s the full Parent Friendly Stays review of Gwynfryn Farm.

Accommodation and prices

gwynfryn1Gwynfryn Farm comprises a total of 13 cottages sleeping between 2 and 8 people. The terraced cottages were sympathetically converted from former farm buildings and offer a cosy and comfortable stay, with coal fires in some properties to ensure warm winter stays. A family holiday for two adults and two children during the summer school holidays will cost around £780 in one of Gwynfryn’s two bedroom cottages, with the same break costing as little as £300 out of season.

Child friendly features

gwynfryn2There’s lots to keep children occupied at this family friendly holiday complex. Gwynfryn Farm has an indoor heated swimming pool and an indoor games room with pool table, table tennis, table football, air hockey, darts, a games console and a soft play area for under 5s. Outside you’ll find an adventure play area, football pitch, trampoline, toy tractors and a full size tennis court. Given Gwynfryn is a working organic dairy farm, young guests can get involved by helping to feed the cats, pigs, hens, goats and lambs and by bringing in the cows for milking – a unique and enjoyable taste of rural life for the kids.

Parent friendly features

gwynfryn3It wouldn’t be Parent Friendly Stays if there weren’t some adult friendly features at Gwynfryn Farm too! Mums and dads will enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi which are located near the swimming pool, and for fitness fans there’s also a full gym suite to help you work up a sweat. For those who enjoying socialising the owners of Gwynfryn Farm host a free BBQ in high season each Monday night – that’s one evening when you don’t need to worry about planning dinner! There’s also babysitting available if you fancy an evening trip out for a meal or drinks; perfect for trying out one of the two pubs within a 15 minute stroll of the cottages. The complex doesn’t have WiFi but there is a shared computer with internet connection available for use, and you’ll also find a shared free laundry facility. Family pets are welcome.

In summary

At Parent Friendly Stays we think this holiday destination has plenty to offer families and at a very reasonable price, even in the summer peak. So for an affordable holiday in North Wales with the children, Gwynfryn Farm is definitely worth a look!
