Whiteshoot Farm is located close to the New Forest National Park, a great place for family days out with beautiful scenery enjoyed from a variety of walking, cycling and horseriding trails. The market towns of Fordingbridge and Ringwood are nearby, while the famous Bournemouth Beach is around 23 miles away. The historic cathedral city of Salisbury is also easily accessible, being only six miles away.

ACCOMMODATION AND PRICES
Whiteshoot Farm is an attractively converted and well presented thatched barn conversion. Living accommodation comprises a feature lounge with open fire, large TV, sound system and doors to the garden, and a large kitchen/diner. There are four bedrooms – one kingsize double with en-suite, another double room with en-suite, and two singles which also share a further bathroom. There’s a patio area outside the property and a second adjacent to the swimming pool, with garden furniture and BBQ. The property has secure off street parking for up to four cars.
For an idea of prices, a week long stay in late June costs around £2600. At the time of writing the summer stays here were fully booked, but we’d expect a price in the region £3500-£4000.
CHILD FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
To the rear of Whiteshoot Farm is a large gently sloping lawn providing plenty of safe outdoor playing space for little ones. The outdoor swimming pool is a star feature, heated from late May until early September, and providing a wonderful place for visitors of all ages to relax and enjoy a splash. Older children will enhoy the low zip wire from the treehouse, while there’s also a rowing boat available for messing around on the farm’s lake. Those with younger tots will obviously want to make sure they don’t let their little ones wander off towards the pool or lake unattended!
PARENT FRIENDLY HOLIDAY FEATURES
Whiteshoot Farm is a modern, well equipped property with flatscreen TVs and a modern sound system. The log burner is a welcome cosy touch for autumn or winter stays.
Guests enjoy a free bottle of wine on arrival from the on-site vineyard, and it’s possible to book an organised truffle hunt in the orchard for a small additional fee. Guests also receive a welcome hamper including homemade crumble or cake.
For a rural location, Whiteshoot Farm is well served with food options: the closest convenience store is a ten minute walk away in Woodfalls, while it’s a 7 mile drive to the nearest supermarket. There are also two lovely pubs within walking distance offering home-cooked meals and a pretty beer garden. You’ll also find takeaways offering delivery to Whiteshoot Farm and a nearby Indian restaurant.
There’s free WiFi throughout and pets are welcome for a small additional fee. Baby equipment like travel cots and high chairs are available on request.
