So November’s nearly over already (where does time go nowadays?!) and the annual routine of festive TV adverts and Christmas music in the shops started many weeks ago. For those lucky families who long since booked a child-pleasing holiday over Christmas or New Year in a cosy self-catering cottage or well-equipped family hotel, there are only a few weeks left to wait.
But what about those of us who weren’t quite so prepared and have suddenly now realised how much we wish we were spending the festive period with our families somewhere new and exciting? Well you needn’t worry! We’ve rounded up all the child friendly holidays from Parent Friendly Stays who’ve still got space this December and listed them below.

Malston Mill Farm, Devon
Remaining space in Courtyard Cottage (sleeps four) over Christmas period for £785, and at New Year in Courtyard Cottage (£785/week or £550 for four nights), Riverside Cottage (sleeps four) for £840/week or £590 for four nights, or in Dairy Cottage (sleeps three) for £590/week or £415 for four nights.

Sands Resort Hotel, Cornwall
Sands Hotel is open from 28th December to 4th January and is offering a family new year’s party with family entertainment, kids’ clubs, gala dinner and party. Parents can take advantage of the free baby listening service and there will be a disco until the early hours of New Year’s day. Prices start from £71.50 per night/per adult and incl. dinner and breakfast. Minimum stay is 3 nights over New Year’s but there are also two night stays before and after New Year’s from £65 per adult, per night and incl. breakfast. Children’s discounts apply.

Crieff Hydro Hotel, Perthshire
